BetterThanWolves for NFC v3.4.1
MMC Instance Download: www.mediafire.com/file/mk2emk6xniw22c8/NFC-BTW+v3.4.1.zip/file
To install, either download and import the MultiMC instance, or add ModLoaderNFC, the Texture Hypercompressor, and BTW, in that order, to the Minecraft.jar file of your NFC Instance.
BetterThanWolves Notes:
BetterThanWolves for v3.4.1 is completely compatible with old NFC 1.8.7_02 BetterThanWolves worlds. The only issues is that there was an ID conflict between Nether Uraninite and Nether Gold and two of the BTW blocks, so all instances of the lit lamp and the BBQ block will be converted into these NFC v3.4.1 blocks. So before you update, make sure to flip off all your lights.
One of the only changes from regular BetterThanWolves v2.82, the version this is based on, is that logs are now usable for creating tanned leather. 1 log and 1 scoured leather in the crucible will create 1 tanned leather. To compensate for this change, dung, the original item you needed for tanned leather, has been boosted to now create twice the amount of tanned leather, with 1 dung and 1 scoured leather creating 2 tanned leather.
HMI c15 is not compatible with NFC+BTW, as HMI was not designed to work with this specific older version of BTW. I threw together and compiled a patched up earlier build of HMI that will work fine with both mods though, which you can download from here: www.mediafire.com/file/dmr6j02fwtm8evw/HowManyItems+v4.1.1_2+with+NFC+Compatibility.zip/file
For Brick Oven Recipes, you can find those on the NFC Wiki. And for the BTW recipes that are not done through the standard crafting table/surface, it's recommended to take a look here i.imgur.com/MCEbeuR.jpg
Note: Some recipes contained are for items that were introduced in later versions of BTW, and/or have different recipes than they do in v2.82. A list of some of the examples of those differences are found here.
- The Hibachi recipe uses netherrack instead of Hellfire, and flint instead of glowstone dust
- The Composite Bow, Hellfire, Pottery, the Crucible, Refined Tools and Armor, and Coal Dust don't exist
- The top row of the detector recipe is different, with it being "cobblestone, lapis block, cobblestone" instead of "lapis, cobblestone, lapis".
- Belts requires 8 straps in a circle instead of 4
Flowerchild has changed their policy from earlier years, and they are now completely okay with modified versions of their code being redistributed freely. BetterThanWolves is under Creative Commons now. More information on that can be found here.
