Custom Structure Generator
New Frontier Craft includes a system coded by Zowja — the Custom Structure Generator. Currently this generates a couple rare surface buildings, some new dungeons in the Overworld and Nether, broken portals, among a couple other things.
The Custom Structure Generator allows for people to create “structure packs”, which are installed in either the structures folder of your world, or the structurepacks folder of your NFC .minecraft directory to be automatically installed into all newly generated worlds.
Default NFC Structures
Structure | Location(s) | Description | Loot |
Beacon | Rarely in any biome on dirt, stone or sand on the surface close to sea level. | A beach monument consisting of a glowstone on top of an obsidian rod on a stone base, around which there are also cobblestones, stone bricks and stone slabs. | — |
Large Well | Very rarely in forests, swamplands and plains on stone, dirt, sand, gravel or sandstone slightly above sea level. | A well consisting of stone bricks decorated with oak branches. 5 blocks of glowstone are attached under the ceiling, and bismuth and gold blocks are stored at the obsidian bottom. | — |
Overgrown Stump | Commonly in forests and swamplands on grass at sea level and above. | An oak stump on which and around which mushrooms grow. On the stump itself, in most cases there is a gray mushroom, less commonly — red, and in 1 case out of 1000 the mushroom on the stump will be blue. Mushroom on a stump may not be at all. Around the stump there can also be up to 4 gray or red mushrooms (on stone or dirt blocks). | — |
Water Tower | In the desert, on stone, dirt or sand, slightly above sea level. | A reservoir made of stone slabs with holes in the top, in which water, 5 cobblestone blocks and 3 gravel blocks, as well as 1 loot chest is stored. The reservoir with the help of cobblestone slabs is attached to 5 overgrown oak pillars, under which there are brass blocks. 4 outermost pillars are interconnected by stone slabs, which are connected to the central pillar by wooden slabs. From the tower, water flows down to 3 cacti growing in front. | Chest contains 16 stacks of items, with the following distribution: i.imgur.com/vPejuuM.png |
Skeleton Spire | Very commonly in caves of any biome below sea level. | An underground moss stone column 15 blocks high (goes into the stone), tapering to the center, where the skeleton spawner is placed. | — |
Spider Den | Commonly in caves of any biome below sea level. | A space of 7×7×1 blocks, surrounded by moss stone with random holes and filled with air or cobwebs, in the middle of which the spider spawner is placed. | — |
Zombie Dropper | Very commonly in caves of any biome below sea level. | A space of 5×5×2 blocks, surrounded by moss stone with holes in the floor, in the middle of which the zombie spawner is placed. | — |
Nether Dungeon | In the Nether, inside of netherrack at an altitude of 35 to 114. | A dungeon with a space of 7×7×4 blocks, similar to the normal dungeons of the Overworld, but having the form of cross strips of Nether bricks 3 blocks wide, in the center of which is the fire creeper or fire spider spawner. May contain up to 2 loot chests. | Chests contain 5, 7 or 9 stacks of items, with the following distribution: i.imgur.com/QanALOf.png |
